I’m Béatrice, though everyone calls me Béa. That feeling of being somewhere else and entirely at home is something I look for wherever I go. I founded Maison Nomade to create it with you: journeys, places to settle into, private experiences and occasions to gather, considered as rooms within the same home.

I remember breakfast beside a lake in Vietnam, looking out over the water lilies. The sun was gently warming my skin, and I took my time watching the water, the leaves resting on its surface, the reflections shifting with the light. Everything invited me to linger: the morning warmth, the stillness. Breakfast had become a moment in its own right, beautiful enough that I had no desire to think about the rest of the day.
Sometimes, the wish to leave begins with an image that stays with you: a house opening onto a garden, a road through vineyards as the air grows warm, a city you would like to return to in autumn.
Then the wish becomes more personal. Seeing someone again. Showing your child the sea. Celebrating a birthday far from everything. I start there, before flights and dates. Then I choose: a hotel where you are welcomed by name, a stay long enough for the fruit seller to recognise you, a guide who knows when to fall silent in front of a fresco, a lunch that stretches into the afternoon beneath the plane trees. And time left unfilled, because some of the best moments of a journey are the ones you could never have planned.

I lived in Bangkok for a year when my son was a baby. What I remember of that apartment is the passage from the cool bedroom into the warmth outside: opening the balcony door was enough for the hot air to wrap around me and the vast city to unfold before my eyes. Even after months, I would linger by the window. Downstairs, the smell of bread and croissants had become part of my days, alongside everything I was discovering with my son.
This is what moves me about the places we live in: a view becomes part of everyday life without losing its wonder, and small habits gradually turn an address on the other side of the world into a home.
I look for places that make you want to live something there. An apartment from which to rediscover Paris at your own pace. A villa with enough privacy for everyone to feel comfortable. A pied-à-terre that makes each return easier. For a holiday, a few months or a purchase.
Through Residences, I help you define your priorities, guide the search and compare the places proposed. I look at what a photograph cannot tell you: how light moves through the rooms, the sounds of the neighbourhood, the shops within walking distance, who looks after the house while you are away. At Chef’s Table at Lebua, there was the view, of course. But what stayed with me was the conversation between the plate and the glass: wines chosen to complement each dish, and service that seemed to have been designed just for us.
These are moments when you feel expected, when someone has thought about every detail. I shape them around your interests, your habits and a wish you may not yet have found words for. A table chosen for the conversation it allows, a city quietly revealed by someone who loves it, a treatment that helps you unwind before the evening: I give the occasion its shape, select the right people and coordinate the details so you can be fully present.

In the Caribbean, a dinner on a terrace continued late into the night. In the warm, humid air, no one seemed in a hurry to leave, a glass in hand, one story leading to another. Laughter rose, conversations overlapped, music accompanied the evening, and behind the voices the sea kept its own rhythm. At times, the surf and the music became impossible to separate: they seemed to breathe together. I love nights no one wants to end, when the company is so good that leaving is always put off a little longer.
When I imagine a gathering, I think of that freedom to stay, to talk, to let the evening continue. Dinner for eight around a walnut table. A birthday in a house you love. A celebration bringing together guests from three continents.

Maison Nomade — A personal perspective and approach
Connecting places, moments and people.
I can fall in love with a city for its light, a house for its proportions, a table for what happens around it. Then I want to know who is behind the address, who will feel at home there and when it is at its best.
This perspective comes from my travels and the people I have met along the way. I select, coordinate and bring in the partners suited to each project. A journey leads you to a place you want to return to. That place becomes the setting for a celebration. A guest opens up another horizon. Travel, settle in, savour, gather: four doors into the same home, yours, wherever it takes shape.
